Rolling back the Terror Laws

The Greens have been calling for review of our anti-terrorism laws since well before the Rudd government was elected. Rammed through our Parliament in 2005, the anti-terror laws demand urgent review and overhaul rather than strengthening, because of how seriously they undermine our human & civil rights.
A discussion paper on Australia's anti-terrorism laws was introduced to the Parliament – a paper that managed to use 448 pages to make no useful recommendations. It is only open for comment until Friday 25th Sept, so the time is now!
You can make your voice heard on these terrible anti-terror laws.
Strong expressions of public interest are encouraged because they will go a long way toward tempering the Government's approach.
